Ayanlar

Ayanlar Mound, situated 30 kilometers west of Şanlıurfa and north of the village of Ayanlar (Hut), beneath the residential area, is locally known as "Gre Hut." This flat mound stands approximately 10 meters high, surrounded by a village settlement to its south and east. Through on-site investigations, diverse terracotta fragments from various historical periods were unearthed. Noteworthy discoveries include flint blades, fragments of flakes, points, and scrapers, as well as basalt upper and lower grinding stones with pestles. Additionally, the findings encompass fragments of stone vessels and a fragment of a stone weight.
