Yenimahalle
Situated north of Balıkgöl and southwest of the Selahattin Eyyübi Mosque within the confines of the Urban Archaeological Site, this area is nestled in a hilly terrain, with its southern facade overlooking the Balıklıgöl plateau. Extensive studies have conclusively demonstrated that this locale traces its origins to the Neolithic Period. Notably, the unearthing of the Balıklıgöl Statue in 1994 within the same region has significantly enhanced the archaeological significance of the site.
